

CPR for the Community & Workplace
CPR for The Community and Workplace course provides individuals with the basic knowledge and skills to provide effective basic life support to unresponsive individuals in an emergency. Students will learn necessary skills and techniques for the administration of CPR, how to recognize a life threatening emergency, and what to do in the event of a blocked airway or choking person. Initials and renewals are combined into the same 4 hour classes, as guidelines continually change. This course provides a 2 year certification and covers adult, child, and infant. Certification is provided through the nationally recognized American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI).
All CPR courses include AED ( automatic defibrillator) training.
Intended Audience: Any person who needs or wants to learn the skills and techniques needed to provide basic life support in an emergency. This includes all lay person responders, coaches, teachers, child care providers, and employee response teams.
