CPR for the Community & Workplace
This CPR course is designed for childcare providers, coaches, teachers, lay person responders, and the general public.
It is not the correct course for healthcare providers. If in the healthcare profession or medical/nursing school, refer to the HCP-BLS course.
The certification is through ASHI - American Safety and Health Institute. This is a 4 hour course providing a 2 year certification. The course is appropriate whether taking as an initial or a recert student, as guidelines continually change. This course meets all national and state requirements for layperson CPR and is approved by the Ohio Dept of Job & Family Services for Child Care Providers.
The 4 hour course includes the following skills:
CPR for Adult, Child (Pediatric) and Infant
Blocked Airyway and Choking
AED training (Automatic Defibrillator)
The course cost is $40.
