CPR for the Community & Workplace

The goal of the CPR for the community and workplace course is to provide individuals with the basic knowledge and skills to provide effective basic life support to unresponsive individuals in an emergency. Students will learn  necessary skills and techniques for the administration of CPR, how to recognize a life threatening emergency, and what to do in the event of a blocked airway or choking person. This course is a combination of both adult and pediatric.  (The course may be available as adult only or pediatric only for groups upon request.)

All CPR courses include AED training.

Intended Audience: Any person who needs or wants to learn the skills and techniques needed to provide basic life support in an emergency. This includes all lay person responders, coaches, teachers, child care providers, and employee response teams.

This course is not intended for healthcare providers - (refer to HCP course information). 

Course Length: 4 Hours

Students will receive completion card with 2-year certification
